Welcome to Southern Local!
I am honored and privileged to serve as Superintendent for our fantastic learning community. We have a strong and passionate community where our schools serve as the hub. We are fortunate to have students and families who have been at Southern Local for generations and equally fortunate to have numerous new families enroll in our district for the great opportunities that we provide.
Our classrooms are newer design and we continually update and maintain our buildings for function and safety. We routinely update our operations and technology to offer students and staff everything needed to be college and career ready at graduation. Our athletic facilities offer our student athletes the best surfaces in the area including new artificial turf football and baseball fields.
We strive to offer the best educational opportunities for students. Teachers, administrators and staff lead by modeling the ideal of continuous growth through collaboration and professional development. Students are given student centered instruction with a focus on inquiry based methods. We develop future leaders and successful graduates in college and careers.
