Justin Gerren, (Class of 2001), Athlete

Justin was a three-sport athlete. He was a four-year letter winner in football, a three-year letter winner in basketball, and a four-year letter winner in baseball.

Justin's four years as a football player included 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions on the field. He received Honorable Mention for the Evening Review, Quad County and Northeast Inland District.

His basketball career, Justin was a shooting guard who made 391 points of which 192 were from the three-point line. He was named to the Evening Review All Area Team and Honorable Mention to Columbiana County All Stars.

Justin excelled in baseball. He led the team with a batting average of .400. He was 1st Team Tri-County League (two years) and Evening Review All Area (two years). His junior year, Justin was third in the county for both home runs and stolen bases.

Justin currently holds the school records for home runs in a game, season, and career.

Christopher "Chris" Weeda, (Class of 2009), Athlete

Chris was a two sport athlete who earned eight varsity letters. Chris' two sports were football and track. In football, Chris received the following awards, Southern Local Offensive Blocking Award (twice), 1st Team All County, 1st Team ITCL offense, 1st Team for both the Evening Review and the Morning Journal Offense, and Honorable Mention NE Inland Division VI.

In track, Chris received accolades for his hard work in the discus and shot put. He was High Point Field three years in a row and was 2nd in the discus and shot put in the ITCL. He was 4th in the shot put at the County Meet twice and 4th in the discus his senior year. He qualified for the Regional twice and earned 9th place finish his senior year.

Carly Warnock Magnotta, (Class of 2010), Athlete

Carly lettered in two sports, volleyball and basketball. In volleyball, Carly was a four-year letter winner as a setter. Carly's accomplishments include, a record 2,689 sets, 1,031 passes, a record 442 assists, a record 402 points (84 aces), a record 307 dinks, 470 spikes (139 kills) and 17 blocks. Her awards included 1st Team ITCL (twice), 1st Team District 1 (twice) and 2nd Team Columbiana County. 

In basketball, Carly was Co-Captain. She received the Al Girone Award.

Trey Griffith, (Class of 2011), Athlete

Trey as a two sport athlete who was a three-year letter winner in football and a four-year letter winner in basketball.  Trey's football career included being named to 3rd Team All State, 1st Team NE Inland District, 1st Team ITCL, 1st Team Columbiana County, 1st Team Morning Journal, and participating in the Penn-Ohio Game. Trey led the league in receiving yards and touchdowns. He holds record at the school in receiving yards and TDs in a season and receiving yards in a career (1100).

In basketball, Trey helped the team to a 17-4 record. He received Honorable Mention in the ITCL and Morning Journal All  Star Teams, was 2nd Team All Columbiana County and 3rd Team Evening Review.

Kyle Exline, (Class of 2012), Athlete

Kyle was an outstanding football player who received four varsity letters. As a freshman, Kyle was a contributor to the 7-3 team under Dan Saling as a utility player and on special teams. As a sophomore, he became a starter at many positions on the offensive line under Jim Brown. As a junior, Kyle was a two-way starter at tight-end and linebacker. He was also captain for the first playoff team under Mike Skrinjar. That team tied the school record for the most wins in a season (8). His senior year, Kyle was a two-way starter and the team captain that broke the school record for the most wins (9-1). Kyle led the team in tackles and receptions. The teams in which he participated went 27-13.

Kyle was named 3rd Team All Ohio Linebacker, 1st Team - ITCL, Columiana County, Morning Journal, and Evening Review. Kyle's senior year statistics include 119 tackles, 7 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 3 interceptions, 28 receptions, 428 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Luke Griffith, (Class of 2013), Athlete

Luke was a two sport athlete. He was a three-year letter winner in both football and basketball. In football, Luke passed for 4,187 yards and 37 touchdowns. He holds the school records for the Most Passing Yards in a game, season, and career. He led the league in passing yards in both 2011 and 2012. He received 1st Team ITCL, Quad County, Columbiana County, NE Inland District and Morning Journal, Player of the year Evening Review, Special Mention All Ohio, My Vally Sports Big 22, and was a Penn-Ohio Game participant.

In basketball, Luke had the most 3's in a game (9) and a season (61) both school records. He received, 1st Team Columbiana County, 2nd Team ITCL and NE Inland District, and Honorable Mention All Ohio.
